Maasai in the Sun Oil on Canvas

This piece is a direct representation of the harsh summer conditions
in Maasai-land and the hospitable culture of the locals in welcoming
guests to experience their undying love for traditions, culture and
their immediate environment.
It portrays a Maasai Moran (warrior) grinning with pleasure, eyes
almost closed to the hot weather.
With him is his spear to the left and shield to the right. Rotating
(right) behind him in blues and yellows is the blazing sun.
